The DNAiTECH was developed for LAMP (Loop-mediated isothermal amplification) of nucleic acids with an operational temperature range of 58-70C. LAMP is a powerful method for isothermal DNA amplification, however it is not always the users preferred option. We are now releasing a new version of the App and firmware accommodating a larger range of instrument temperatures and isothermal methods.
A temperature range from 37C to 70C is now available. This increases the users options for an range of isothermal methods. For instance recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA), LAMP-CRISPR, helicase-dependent amplification (HDA), rolling-circle amplification (RCA), strand-displacement (SDA) can be performed on the DNAiTECH.
The program window has a slider for the user to input the desired temperature from 37-70 C for their assay.
